In the perpetration phase for the triaging, WLI made
a survey during Oct.1-15. to know the centers which
working in this field, which it doesn't exist in the
assessment done by Women's Freedom organization
within this project, so they were found (16) centers
speared in

WLI has
implemented the 16 days campaign to stop violence.
It was a national campaign under the slogan ((
violence against woman is a contempt for human
dignity)). The campaign has targeted all over Iraq
in order to raise the awarenes about the phenomena
of violence. The UNFPA has supported this campaign
through implementing the activities with some NGOs
and under the care of ministry of woman affairs in
Iraq.
WLI's
activities includes:

newspaper
advertisement about the campaign and its goals.

Radio program
consist of 5 episodes each one deal with type of
violence.

4 workshops in
Babil and Diyala.

6 workshops
with local community leaders in Basra, Thi-Qar and
maysan.

issued an identifying brochure about the campaign.
